Struggling to get your vibe coded app over the line and launch?

Here's how I'd do it in less than 90 seconds…

1. Get clear on the idea – don't just build a to do list app, build a to do list app to help someone specific achieve something meaningful and solve a clear problem.

2. Create a detailed PRD – this will outline your app idea and everything you need to build in order to make it work.

3. Write a clear first prompt – Instead of plonking your PRD in Lovable, write a clear first prompt that outlines one feature to get started.

4. Add database, auth and payments and test them – these are the things you need to make your app work. Test that users are being created in your database, and test that payments using either Polar or Stripe are being associated with users so you can give them access.

5. Test your app end to end – test every interaction in your app to make sure it works, and give your AI coding tool context of how things break and what you did when the bug happened when you try to fix it.

6. Deploy to a custom domain – use netlify or vercel to deploy your app to a custom domain, and then test it live before sending it to people.

7. Launch on product hunt and microlaunch – the 2 best places to start your journey to getting customers for you app, and the easiest places to launch and get some initial attention.
