Most people say you should start with a PRD before you build your app with Lovable, Bolt or any other tool. I actually think this can be detrimental to what you're trying to create, and I want to break down my alternative prompt framework and explain why.
PRDs can often over-explain the technology and set up of your app, and often confuse the AI by prompting it to build something it actually doesn't know how to create.
