In this video we break down the best Hermes use cases we have found while running the agent every day, from the new desktop app to cost-aware automations. We show how to use it to watch AWS and Gemini API costs and report spikes to a channel, wire up the Stripe MCP to take action, and manage Google Play Store reviews and surface them in Slack.
Next is the no_agent flag, which runs a job without invoking the LLM at all. It still runs inside the Hermes ecosystem, so it has all your context, and we use it to monitor things like TLS and Stripe app health and post the results to Slack. These jobs are practically free, and you can tag Hermes any time you want it to actually act on an alert.
We also cover using the Hermes AI agent as the second brain of your organization by connecting it to Slack, where its evolving memory and skills turn your day to day work into reusable workflows and a company skill the whole team can query.
